Improvement Works have started in the Thamesgate Car Park

What are we doing?

The works consist of deck coating exposed decks with an anti-coating carbonating treatment and filling in all potholes and exposed brickwork. Drainage channels will be cleared out, walls repainted, and the barriers at the entrance of the car park will be removed.

Works will be happen on one level at a time starting with the top floor (weather permitting).

What impact will these works have on my visit?

There will little to no impact to your visit whilst the works are taking place.  Sections of each floor will be closed as they are worked on, thereby avoiding any issues with access on each floor.

Once the works are complete the car park will look visually more appealing, feel new, with easier access into the premises.

Why are you doing this?

This is part of the investment in improvement works the landlord has committed to for Thamesgate, both to improve the shopping experience and to ensure the centre is fit for the future.

How long will it take?

The works are anticipated to take 13 weeks.
